Los Reyes Magos dejan sus regalos a los niños mientras viajan a bordo de sus camellos. David es un niño cuyo padre se va a quedar en el paro, en esta gran crisis que ha devastado la economía española desde 2008. Su padre, se gastará sus ahorros en ese regalo. Pero las cosas no siempre son como deberían, y los reyes tampoco son perfectos.
