A documentary made in 2011 about a marginalised and architecturally unique district of Valencia. Faced with the prospect of joining the likes Marbella and Benidorm in Spain’s vision of modernity, the plans have faced fierce opposition by the local population. The local council stands accused of encouraging dereliction as a way to push out tenants and speed up the development process. Some, however, see the development of the area as the only way forward.
